Deputy police spokesperson Polly Namaye says they do not rule out the possibility of summoning Rwenzururu king, Charles Wesley Mumbere, in connection with the recent attacks on the Rwenzori region that claimed over 90 people.
She said today that the kingdom Prime Minister Noah Nzaghale, and two other kingdom officials are still under police custody.
The royal head however told the press yesterday that government has failed to get the real enemy behind the attacks but is chasing the wrong person. In the same meeting, he promised to protect his kingdom as a professional soldier.
