A plane carrying the UN Marine group heading to Juba, Southern Sudan landed in Mityana around Kiwawu village.
Police has confirmed that the plane number N604AR landed in the middle of the road after running out of fuel at around 10 am.It was first reported that the pilot of the plane was heading to Entebbe airport after sensing a mechanical problem.
Philip Mukasa ,the area police spokesperson confirmed that the plane landed in the road and disorganized traffic from morning up to press time. Drivers were advised to take alternative routes .There was no injury and death recorded at the scene.
The police fire brigade is at the scene to prevent any other accidents like fire outbreak.
