Residents are slowly returning to work. In the last four days residents have been living in fear with little activities going on .

According to Mwesigye, the assailants that attacked Kasese are suspected ADF rebels. However, the army maintains that there is no link between the ADF rebels and the assailants that attacked residents in Bundibugyo, Kasese, and Ntoroko on Saturday.

In Bundibugyo, the combined force of the police and military are still patrolling the town and villages as the death toll rises to over 90.
