Police in Kampala are investigating circumstances under which thieves broke into offices of Human Rights Network (HURINET) in Ntinda, a Kampala suburb.

One of the NGO’s officials, Patrick Tumwine told journalists on Monday morning that the thieves stole all the NGO’s computers, laptops and surveillance cameras.

Kiira Police Station’s CID, John Kanzira said the thieves must have connived with the Tight Security Guard on duty to break into the offices. He said that the guard is currently on the run.
