By Ahura Mujuni Mark

Members of parliament sitting in the Physical Infrastructure Committee have asked the Ministry of works to set up public toilets and garbage binsĀ  on all major highways in the country.

The committee head, Buhweju County MP ,Ephraim Biraaro says this will protect the environment since passengers throw rubbish just anywhere when they are moving to different parts of the country.

He notes that setting up toilets will also help in protecting the dignity of the public.

With no toilets on highways, bus or taxi drivers stop passengers, especially those on long routes anywhere in the open to ease themselves.
