Police are on their tenterhooks searching for the son of the chairman of the Uganda Land Commission (ULC), Baguma Isoke, who was kidnapped by unknown thugs on 5th May.
Anthony Mugarura was reportedly coming from his father’s farms in Mityana District when he was attacked. Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango told the press on Wednesday that police is using all means to find Isoke’s son, whose attackers demand ransom.
He advised young people to use social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Whats up with care since kidnappers targeting ransom are taking advantage of them so much. He also asked members of the public to always be careful with the friends they get on social media platforms.
This is another high profile kidnap reported within a short time ,last month a 17 year old girl was kidnapped in Kampala by attackers who demanded ransom but later killed her.
