A dog in Nebraska’s Sarpy County called police using its owner’s smartphone.

The dog’s owner, Melissa Acosta, told the press that she thought her 2-pound Japanese Chin, Sophie, was trying to curl up next to her on the couch, when she realized it was scratching at the smartphone with her paw.
