The National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has appointed a committee of seven people to move across the country to look into the challenges and confusions that erupted in the 2011 party primaries.

The committee will be headed by parliament commissioner Rose Mary Sseninde.Other members include;Topista Nantongo Ssenabulya,Connie Naluggwa Galiwango,Stephen Tashobya,Dr Chris Baryomunsi,Okoti Ogongo and  Gen. Jim Muhwezi.

The committee will do its investigations in one month’s time to intervene with different people who were affected by 2011 party primaries and report back to the caucus.

After the investigations, the committee will consider the way forward for the smooth running of the 2014 party primaries.
