New Holland Agriculture opened the doors to its Harvesting Centre of Excellence in Zedelgem, Belgium, to a Ugandan Government delegation on a fact-finding mission for the Country’s dairy and husbandry sector.
New Holland Agriculture welcomed the Ugandan delegation in the visitors centre of its Harvesting Centre of Excellence in Zedelgem, Belgium. They attended a presentation of the advanced design, R&D and manufacturing facilities of the Harvesting Centre of Excellence, as well as the technologies and products developed and produced to serve farmers around the world.
The prestigious delegation was led by Hon. Dr Bright Rwamirama, Minister of State for Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries.The delegation included Hon. Col. Fred Mwesigye, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Presidential Affairs Committee; Rev Canon Aaron Mwesigye, Senior Presidential Advisor for Investment Affairs; Dr. Jolly Zaribwende, Executive Director of the Dairy Development Authority (DDA); Dr. Samuel Mugasi, Executive Director of the National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS), Mrs. Hamida Kibirige and Mrs. Lieve Leysen of consulting firm A Plus Associates Uganda and Murima M. Wakana (Kroona)
Hon. Dr Bright Rwamirama pronounced himself delighted with the visit and took the opportunity to express his satisfaction at the growth of the brand in Uganda. He also commented on the excellence performance of his New Holland tractor, while the Hon. Col. Fred Mwesigye expressed a serious interest in the New Holland BC5000 series square baler.
The visit was organized within the framework of New Holland’s excellent relationship with Packo, a manufacturer of Dairy Equipment and milk installations for dairy farms.
The delegation was invited to Belgium by Packo Inox and A Plus Associates Uganda, whose mission is to bring together businesses in East Africa with European Businesses/Suppliers.
