Forum for Democratic Change Spokesperson, Wafula Ogutu, is the new leader of the opposition in parliament.

Mr Oguttu first hesitated to take up the position when he was nominated by Gen Muntu. He however accepted the position after party devotees Augustine Ruzindana, Muniini Mulera and Mr Mafabi pleaded with him to take up the position.

“He (Wafula) is capable, committed and has a corporate background and I believe his management capabilities will be able to work in Parliament.” Muntu said after appointing him.
