The NRM caucus vice chairman David Bahati has confirmed to the  press at parliament on Wednesday that,NRM party will spend over 350 Million shillings to cater for 300 members who are going to attend the 10 day retreat scheduled 6th to 16th Feb at  the national leadership institute in Kyanyanzi.

Mr Bahati says that, the money is meant for accommodating the party members.The THEME of the caucus is ‘NRM Manifesto 2011-2016 progress, challenges and opportunities’

“This retreat will be used to review the progress made by various ministries towards resolutions of the 2013 retreat. We shall also consolidate political unity within the NRM parliamentary caucus and address the challenges faced by the ministries on the implementation of the NRM Manifesto” Mr Bahati said.

Mr Bahati further confirmed that, the issue of Homosexuality will be discussed deeply since Mr President referred the matter to this retreat.
“The party will also make its final decision on rebel MPs since the party secretary General Amama Mbabazi is going to give a report about rebel MPs”.

The retreat will officially be opened by the party chairman Mr Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
