Heads of state from Uganda,Rwanda,kenya and Tanzania have officially launched the Single Tourist Visa and Use of National IDs, Voter/Student Cards as Travel Documents.
President Paul Kagame of Rwanda who arrived in Uganda yesterday for the summit was the first East African citizen to be issued a Ugandan Visa using his Identity card today at Entebbe Airport to obtain a Ugandan Visa.
The launch took place at the 4th Summit of the Northern Corridor Integration Projects in Kampala today.
The 4th Northern Corridor Integration Projects Summit is being hosted by Uganda in Kampala.
The leaders will share the developments on the projects being fast tracked and propose the best way forward.
The Northern Corridor countries of Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan are participating in the Summit.
