Ugandans who were stuck in the Juba crisis are back home safely.Though one Ugandan was reported dead in the crisis,at least 14 buses carrying mostly Ugandan business men and women arrived in the country yesterday.
The buses left the young embattled country via the Elegu -Nimule border escorted by the South Sudanese police.Each bus carried a total of 70 passengers,said the Northern region Police spokesman, Patrick Okema
He added that more buses have been sent to save more people stuck in fighting and severe food shortage.
The fighting in Juba which has now spread to other areas broke out on Sunday evening.It is said to be spearheaded by former Vice President Riek Machar.
More that 500 people are confirmed dead in the fighting.
