Mia Farrow has set tongues wagging when she said that her son, Ronan may not be Woody Allen’s but Frank Sinatra’s son.
The 68 year old actress in an interview with Vanity Fair made the big reveal in regard to her 25 year old son. During the interview, she called Sinatra the love of her life. “We never really split up,” she said of her and Sinatra. The two married when she was 21 and he was 50. 18 months later, their marriage fell apart when she refused to drop out of “Rosemary’s Baby” to star opposite her husband in “The Detective” instead.
Asked if Ronan, 25, who was believed to be her biological son with Allen, Farrow responded, “Possibly.” In an email, Nancy Sinatra Jr. openly described her family’s affection for Ronan. “He is a big part of us,” she wrote. “And we are blessed to have him in our lives.”
For his part, Ronan is taking his mom’s admissions with a sense of humor, posting the following on Twitter: “Listen, we’re all *possibly* Frank Sinatra’s son.”
Farrow’s 28-year-old daughter Dylan (who has changed her name to Malone) also had a lot to say about the man who raised her, Allen. “I’m scared of him, his image,” she said in reference to accusations that Allen [intimately] abused her during her childhood, an issue Farrow raised during her very public split from the auteur after he left her for their adopted daughter Soon-Yi.
“I have never been asked to testify,” Dylan said. “If I could talk to the seven-year-old Dylan, I would tell her to be brave, to testify.”
