St Balikudembe Market formerly Owino may be auctioned if traders fail to raise the 6 billion shilling they owe DFCU bank.
The traders under the umbrella, St. Balikuddembe Market Stalls, Space and Lockup Shop Owners Association Ltd [SSLOA] secured a loan of sh3.8b from the bank in 2011.
The money has so far accumulated to shs6b in arrears.
Most of the traders blame KCCA for interfering with their operations .
They have appealed to President Museveni to came and save them from loosing the land .
The land comprised of plots 388, 1431 and 1339 sits on over 3 acres in Kisenyi.
The traders have only 30 days to clear the debt.If they fail ,Odens and Wanders Bailiffs and Auctioneers will auction the land.
