Upcoming artist, Nince Henry staged his first concert on Saturday and despite the term up coming, he managed to wow the crowds.
The Mpola Mpola singer staged his first concert at the Garden City roof top last week on Friday and a mammoth crowd showed up. Gates were open by 7:00pm but few people turned up, that was up until 9:00pm. Maro first hit the stage with just a handful of people at the show before Urban TV’s Rated Next winner, Daniel Kaweesi hit the stage.
Pastor Wilson Bugembe also performed Ngambila Akawala ako and by the time it clocked 10:00pm, it was full house. That was when Nince Henry hit the stage. He was dressed in an all-white outfit and sung his slow rhythmic songs before revealing that he is also good with a pen.
He revealed that he penned popular songs such as Omukwamo gunyuma by Samali Matovu; Julie Mutesasira’s Tubenga bumu, Bobi Wine’s Tube bayonjo, Bebe Cool’s Eno minzani and Kamwaako, Iryn Namubiru’s Kawoowo, Begombeeko, and Birowozo, Barbie Jayz Tombuuza, Diana’s Kisumuluzo, and Oliwange by Rema.
The crowd’s ready reception of his songs made him emotional and made him thank the crowd for the love. They were more than ready to sing along as he performed some of his most popular songs such as “Cinderella” and “Mpola mpola’.
