Mpola Mpola singer, Nince Henry had a successful concert last weekend as he launched his Mpola Mpola album launch.
His success went far beyond many people turning up for the concert at Garden City and also reached into his pockets. News reaching Ugandapicks says the ‘Cinderella’ singer managed to walk away with sh57 million from the show. He earned the money through gate collections and CD sales but does not include sponsorships from the sponsors.
Nince earned shs6.2 million from the main show at Rooftop Garden City from gate collections, sold 1,800 tickets at Satellite Beach in Mukono where each ticket was sold at 5k meaning shs9 million was collected. On Sunday while at Freedom City, he collected shs25 million at the gate which adds up to sh40.2 million collected from the gates at the three concerts.
Mama Fiina bought the Mpola Mpola CD at shs10 million while Honorable Syda Bumba paid shs5 million for the CDS. Other notables including Pepsi’s Jeff Sekadde and Nile Breweries Shem Semambo bought the CD each at shs200, 000. When all is compiled it comes to slightly more than shs57million.
