Lecturers have resumed at Kyambogo University after students went on strike early this week over the new tuition fees payment policy.
According to local media, lecture rooms are now filled to capacity after the strike as the university recovers from the strike on Monday. Students striked over the new tuition fees policy that required them to pay all the fees within the first six weeks of a semester.
Fresh students were also required sh50, 000 for late registration and sh20, 000 for continuing students.
The university library; main building; the senate building; banks; internet cafes; secretarial bureaus; university bookshop, guild and staff canteens have all resumed normal operations.
