Police in Buikwe are investigating the death of two men under mysterious circumstances.
George Kityo, a trader at Jinja Central Market and Moses Kigozi, residents of Kyabagu and Lwampala zones in Njeru town council respectively were found dead in their houses .
Njeru Town council Criminal Investigations Officer Juliet Baguma, says they are trying to find clues to establish if there are people who know how the two men died.
A preliminary police report shows that Kigozi had foam on his mouth, which raises suspicion that he could have died of poisoning.
Annet Namukasa, a neighbor to Kigozi told police that the deceased has been suffering from hypertension, diabetes and Asthma.
Njeru Town council Criminal Investigations Officer Juliet Baguma, says medical documents recovered from Kigozi’s house indicate that he has been on treatment for hypertension, Asthma and Diabetes.
Elias Ngobi, the LC I chairperson Kyabagu zone says at least five people have been found in their houses under unclear circumstances over the past one year.
He says the number of people staying alone in the area is on the increase.
The bodies of the deceased have been handed over to Jinja regional referral hospital for post mortem.
