Police in Gulu District are hunting for naughty thieves who broke in to a primary school and stole a number of plastic chairs and later dumped them in the school compound.
The unknown thieves broke in Negri primary school in Gulu on Tuesday night and but became scared after the school watchman saw them and they dumped their loot.
Brother Santos Okema, the Head teacher Negri Primary school told Uganda Picks that the robbery happened at around 3:00am on Tuesday morning.
Brother Okema added that, “this was the first time the school has experienced such a challenge”.
Patrick Jimmy Okema the police spokesperson when contacted said that the matter has not been reported.
Okema however says that that they are investigating the matter.
Residents around Negri primary said that robbery cases were increasing.
They called on the police to strengthen their intelligence network before it is late.
