Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has someone to defend her to the world, her daughter, Princess.
Omotola’s daughter Princess talked about her mother’s fame, in particular the negative stories written about her making it clear she does not care what they write about her because she is thankful for her.
“It feels great, amazing and nice to be part of something very big and successful. I really thank God for making me part of her family and her person. I am really happy,” she said of her mother. Omotola has been a target for negative media coverage. A few years ago, a controversial picture was taken at the Grammy Awards few years ago and was involved in alleged extra-marital affairs with Sifax boss, Taiwo Afolabi.
Recently she was allegedly given N10 million from Afolabi to do her birthday celebration, allegations she has denied. Asked if she felt bad about the negative stories, Princess said, “No, every moment has been meaningful and I am very grateful for every moment I have had with my mum.”
Asked if she would take after her mum’s trade, she said, “Yes, I would.” Princess is Omotola’s first daughter aged 16 years of age. Omotola has featured in Games Women Play, Ties That Bind and most popularly, Blood Sisters. She is married to Capt. Matthew Ekeinde.
