The Law Development Center management has cancelled the exams of Domestic Relations after reports that the paper had been leaked.
LDC spokesperson Hamis Lukyamuzi confirmed the cancellation of the paper on Thursday. He said students would re-sit the test on Friday. “It is true the paper has been cancelled and we are carrying out investigations to find out how it leaked,” he said. He added saying that some students who sat for the paper complained to the deputy director that some of their colleagues were discussing questions similar to those they saw in the paper.
One of the staff leaked the set exam rules, causing the leakage. “Under our set guidelines, the papers have to be under lock and key and they are supposed to be removed on the day of the exams but in this case, the suspect seems to have done the opposite and we hope we shall get to the bottom of the matter,” he said.
