The misunderstandings between speaker Rebecca Kadaga and premier Amama Mbabazi has reached a boiling point with Mbabazi now complaining that Kadaga is avoiding him by not picking his calls.
In the latest outburst against the speaker, Mbabazi claims that Kadaga does not pick his calls, return them nor does she allow meeting him.
Addressing a press conference at media center, acting information and national guidance minister Richard Todwong said that Mbabazi has been trying to reach out to the speaker to discuss the crisis between the two but the speaker has snubbed him.
Minister Tadwong stated that, the story which occurred in the Observer paper last week quoting him to have told cabinet that Kadaga is an opposition is a hoax and it is being investigated with a view of taking a legal action.
He says the premier (Mbabazi) at no time said this statement attributed to him, neither was there any minister who said it and therefore it is false.
Meanwhile rebel MPs including Theodore Sekikubo, Wilfred Nuwagaba and Barnabas Tinkasimire also attacked Mbabazi over what they called his ongoing attacks on the Speaker.Kadaga however urged Mbabazi to respect Kadaga because she is the head of parliament.
