A land wrangle has emerged between the Ayom and Patiko clans in Alero sub County in Nwoya district.
2 people from the Ayom clan are said to have been seriously injured in Anaka health centre after being cut on their heads by the enraged Patiko clan members over a piece of land.
They were identified as Sunday Akidi and one only identified as Oweka.
The incident took place on Monday evening in Alero sub County in Nwoya district.
2 people from the Alero clan Olanya and Bosko Onek have been arrested by the police in Anaka town council following the land wrangles and attack on the two men.
Patrick Jimmy Okema the police spokesperson for Aswa region when contacted said that, “The RDC came in with the police and the situation has become normal”, Okema explained.
