Gulu leaders were on Friday disappointed with the organizer of Chameleon’s Music show after it collided with a fundraising event for St. Mary’s Hospital at Blue Mango Bar in Gulu town.
St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor was soliciting Shs600M to get treatment for children suffering from Cancer.
Martine Ojara Mapenduzi who was among the district leaders attending the Music show at Blue Mango told reporters that it would have been good if Chameleon joined hands with the rest of the musicians in Gulu to raise fund.
Mapenduzi adds that even Chameleon’s wife-Daniela Atim and most of her relatives were born from St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor in Gulu.
Over 150 children are said to be waiting for Cancer treatment at St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor as the Cancer treatment machine broke down 20 years ago.
