The Acholi Cultural Institution together with its Executive members have sat and decided to sack their Prime Minister, Kenneth Akena Oketta over an issue yet to be made clear.

The dismissal follows the decision made by the deputy paramount Chief of the Acholi paramount Chief Rwot George William Lugayi.

Rwot Lugayi while talking to the Press from Gulu said that, “This is to avoid tension here; we want new development and unite the chiefdom, other underlying issues shall be discussed later”.

This comes less a year when the coordinator of the Ker Kwaro, Santo Okema was fired  over   a statement he made on the construction of Houses for Acholi chiefs by the office of the Prime Minister in Kampala.

Oketta will be replaced by Mathew Otto as the new Prime Minister of Ker Kwaro, the Acholi Cultural Institution.

Rwot Lugai urged Oketta to return all the assets that belongs to the Acholi Cultural Institution as soon as possible so that the new Prime Minister begins his office.
