Vision Group CEO, Robert Kabushenga has pulled out of the FUFA presidency, ugandapicks has learned.

Yesterday, it was confirmed that Mr. Kabushenga had picked up nomination forms from the FUFA offices to apply to become the next president of FUFA after its current president, Mr. Mulindwa Lawrence informed his executives that he would not stand again come August when fresh elections are bound to take place.

Robert Kabushenga“The rules have locked me out of The FUFA Presidency, am not eligible under the rules so I will not stand… ,” Mr. Kabushenga confirmed. “I will continue to be vocal & active under UCI…Let us focus on improving fortunes of national team…thank U those who supported & believed in my bid,” he added.

Mr. Kabushenga had joined FUFA Super League vice president, Mujib Kasule, FUFA administration vice president, Moses Magogo and fashion designer, Sylvia Owori in vying for the seat of the presidency of FUFA.
