Police on Monday morning heavily deployed at the home of former Forum for Democratic Change President ,Kizza Besigye after reportedly being tipped off that he was planning to storm the city once again.
Several security officers are around his house while many of anti-riot police personnel have been stationed along the Mulago-Kasangati road to block Besigye and his supporters from moving to Kampala.
It is not clear how long police intends to keep at Besigye’s home but one police official said that they are maintaining security as the day goes by.
“We have information that Dr Besigye intends to cause chaos in Kampala town.” Deputy Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango said on Monday morning confirming the deployment.
Meanwhile Police also deployed at the home of Kampala Losrd Mayor ,Erias Lukwago .Lukwago has criticised the action of Police saying ,he was supposed to meet his lawyers to help him deal with the case laid upon him by city Councillors.
Addressing journalists at his home ,Lukwago said that he has resolved to invite the lawyers at his home instead of forcing his way to the city.
