Oscar Pistorious murder trial has been postponed to August 19th.
Appearing in a ten minute pre-trial, Pistorious’s trial was postponed at the request of prosecution which wanted the case to be postponed until August 19 to give them more time to investigate.
The judge also announced Pistorious can be re-released on the same bail conditions he had before.
Pistorius’ murder trial itself might not begin until early 2014.
The double-amputee sprinter is charged with premeditated murder of his girlfriend, 29-year-old Reeva Steenkamp on Valentines day. Pistorious asserts that it was in self-defense because he genuinely believed it was an intruder.
He admits on killing her but prosecution claims it was premeditated murder, a charge which he denies.
