Charlie Sheen fired his co-star on his new hit series ‘Anger Management’ Selma Blair in an abusive text message.
Blair complained to the producers of Anger Management about Sheen’s behavior on the show which was a ticket for her to leave the show. Blair acts as Sheen’s therapist in the show but from the original casting process, Sheen was impressed with Blair. He highly of her in TV interviews and although FX did not want her, after the final round of auditions, Sheen made a push and got her the part.
At the moment, the show is roughly halfway through its 100-episode order with ratings at its low at the moment.
The role she plays in the show is allegedly not going to be recast; a new female regular will fill the void left by Blair.
To get her fired, Sheen is said to have threatened to quit the show if Blair stayed.
The statement for dismissal by Lionsgate read; “We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to Anger Management and we wish her the very best.”
