Stanford scientists have discovered that the skeletal vestiges of a tiny creature found in Chile’s Atacama Desert are actually ruins of mutated humans.
These ruins are shaped as a contracted version of the monster from the Ridley Scott movie `Alien’,Top News reports
Speaking about the discovered ruins, Garry Nolan, Director of stem cell biology at Stanford University’s School of Medicine in California, said, “It is human – closer to human than chimpanzees. It lived to the age of six to eight. Obviously, it was breathing, it was eating, it was metabolizing. It calls into question how big the thing might have been when it was born”.
The researchers have fleshed out details of the “Atacama Humanoid”, nicknamed Ata. The ruins were found 10 years ago in the Atacama Desert by a local man. He was searching for objects of historical importance in the Chilean ghost town of La Noria.
The object looks like a six-inch long creature with hard teeth, dark, scaly skin, a bulging head with a lump on top and nine ribs. It has a rib count and a huge head. After studying for a decade, scientists found out that the object was a mutation of a male human.
