The bodies of the two Ugandan truck drivers who were killed in South Sudan over the weekend have been returned to Uganda
A statement by Police spokesperson Judith Nabakoba, identifies the deceased as Tom Masaba and one Moses.
She further states that those injured are being escorted back to Uganda to seek medical treatment, following an engagement between the Inspector General of Police, Lt. Gen. Kale Kayihura and his South Sudan counterpart on the matter.
There has been tension after the death of the drivers but Nabakoba has called for calm as both South Sudan and Uganda police embark on investigation into the matter.
Nabakoba assures that security has been beefed up along the Juba-Kampala route to guard against a re-occurrence of such incident.
