Vision East African has today released a report which reveals that the region is far away from realizing regional integration on grounds of many fears from member states which have become a stumbling block to speed up unity.
While presenting the report in Kampala, Ms Irene Ovongi Odida highlighted issues like lack of political will by heads of member state because of fears to lose sovereignty and economic fears.
Odida added that unless these challenges are dealt with very fast, the region will not see federation soon.
Meanwhile Kyadondo North MP, Robert Ssebunya called upon EAC governments to help and teach their natives the advantages that come with integration than sitting in offices and workshop to discuss integration matters.
