The acting Secretary for Education and Social Services  at the Uganda Muslim supreme council (UMSC) Ramadhan Mugalu  has embarked on a campaign aimed at uplifting the education levels of Muslim founded schools in Uganda.

The campaign involves touring  all schools and holding meetings with school administrators, teachers, students and parents.

“We need more Muslim Pilots, Scientists and Engineers. I urge all Muslim students not to fear these courses because they will make them job makers rather than job seekers” said Mugalu.

He  further advised  Muslims against over dependence on government jobs adding that by being innovative, one becomes more productive and more useful to the nation.

He also called upon educational institutions to prioritize Agricultural, poultry, fish farming, forestry as well as other practical courses like Carpentry, handcraft, brick laying because Uganda is agricultural based nation.
