A British female tourist in Agra, India jumped from a hotel Balcony over alleged assault from a hotel owner.

The woman in her 30s had asked the hotel to wake her up a 04:00 but was surprised to see the hotel owner moving in her room and asking for a body massage.

With the man’s insistence on his ‘offer’ she locked the room and jumped from the balcony of her room and landed on the next level below.

She sustained injury on the leg but has already received treatment according to the senior superintendent of police in Agra, Subhah Chandra Dubey who spoke to the BBC

Agra city is home to the Taj Mahal and is visited by many tourists every year.
