The Ugandan police have learnt that there is a group of businessmen trafficking Ugandan girls to South Sudan.
This was revealed recently after the rescue of eight girls from Juba the city of South Sudan .The traffickers have been taking the girls to do hawker business and domestic work .
The Coordinator for Anti-Human Trafficking Taskforce at the ministry of Internal Affairs, Moses Binoga says that he traveled to Juba to receive the rescued victims who were handed over to the Ugandan police immediately .
Some of the traffickers who have been identified by police include ;Godfrey Bukenya to runs hotel business in Kampala city ,another one is Musoke and a lady known as Cathy Nakibuuka a business lady in Juba.
The victims are normally got from several districts in Uganda ,among which is Masaka .
The official at the ministry of internal affairs say ,one suspect ,Nakibuuka has been conniving with a truck driver to ferry a number of girls from Masaka.She was recently found with four juveniles who were brought to her several days back.
Some of these girls do hawker business and others domestic work.
