Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are incredibly happy despite their divorce last year.

According to a close friend of both Cruise and Holmes, Adam Shankman, Cruise and Holmes are doing just fine and are happy. Katie Holmes hit Tom Cruise with surprise divorce papers just a few days after appearing together at an event looking happy and beautiful together.

“They are incredibly happy,” the Rock of Ages director said. “I’ve just been emailing with him. He’s coming back. He’s shooting [All You Need Is Kill] in London and seems as happy as a clam. I know he sees his daughter.” He went on to add saying, “Katie seems really happy. You just fight through all the noise. And it’s noisy!”

The couple’s daughter, Suri is spending time with both mother and father and seems to be the center of being spoilt by both parents. Late last month, Cruise, 50, was with her in London, where he has been filming his latest film, All You Need Is Kill. “She spent five days with him,” a source said. “He has been working quite long hours on the set, but he was able to have some time off to be with her. They had a really lovely time.”

If her father is working, Suri spends her time with mother, Holmes, 34, in New York.

Holmes filed for divorce last year in June and the divorce was concluded in July. The terms of their divorce were not made public.
