Sudan has announced it does not support the Uganda government, but rather its opposition.

Uganda has helped Sudan to end the violence which has eaten at the country for a long time. Uganda had a very important role to play in the July 9th elections in Sudan which saw South Sudan become an independent country. Despite all the help from the government of Uganda, she has announced she does not support the government of President Museveni.

However, they did not clarify if they were behind a particular opposition party or they were vying for the unseating of President Museveni alone.

Uganda has not yet responded to the announcement although it has acknowledged that it heard that Sudan did not support the current government.
