The Amuru district Inspector for schools has announced plans to hold meetings with the School management Committee of Amuru Lamogi Primary school to find ways of roofing the class rooms that were blown off during a storm on Sunday night.
The destruction of about four class room blocks and the school’s resource centre among other buildings has left several pupils stranded with nowhere to conduct their lessons.
Christopher Ocan says that pupils in the lower classes are temporarily sharing classrooms.
He says they hope to come out with solutions to solve the problem as fast as possible so that pupils can have a good learning environment.
Ocan also calls on parents to be patient as the school authorities doing all they can to ensure that the buildings are roofed.
