Seeta police on Monday rescued a motorcycle robber from being lynched by an angry mob which caught him red handed with two stolen motorcycles.
The survivor was identified as Kisenyi Ssentongo a resident of Upper Kauga in Mukono central division.
Ssentongo was been netted from his home in Kauga by over 100 boda boda cyclists on their operation of hunting down motor vehicles robbers.
It is alleged that Ssentongo had so far stolen eleven motor vehicles from different parts of the country, changing their number plates and putting them on sale.
The angry mob took him to Nantabulirwa where they had planned to set him a blaze after beating him to death but was however rescued by police which was called in time .
He is now under police custody as police carries its investigations.
