The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) will today , Monday file a suit at the Supreme Court challenging the election of Uhuru Kenyatta as President,Standard Digital News Kenya reports.

The Supreme Court must settle the matter within 14 days from the filing date of the suit.

Prime Minister Raila Odinga, the CORD presidential flag bearer in the just concluded General Election, announced on Saturday at his home in Lavington, Nairobi, that the alliance had rejected the confirmation of Uhuru Kenyatta as Kenya’s fourth President by the IEBC.

CORD  has a group of  well known but non-practising lawyers  to deal with the challenging Presidential election case.

CORD says it will prove that votes attained by Uhuru were inflated to the hundreds of thousands, especially in Jubilee strongholds, while CORD was denied votes in their strongholds.
