By Emmanuel Omona PaOkech

The Councilor 5 for Koro Sub County has called on teachers and parents to monitor their children on market days

Francis Watdok Awori says that on Thursday every week, many pupils do not go to school in preference to selling merchandise in the market .

Awori maintains that the vice is common in Palenga and Lakwat-omer trading centers where there are Auctions every week.

He has  urged  parents to avoid sending their children to sell commodities on such days saying that it  affects their performance.

Awori also blames  parents, especially mothers, for overloading daughters with domestic chores which he says is affecting their studies.
