The Police in Elegu trading centre have cautioned the local residents on security following a concert to be performed by a Ugandan renowned singer José Chameleon.

This is the first time the Chameleon is performing at Elegu trading centre.

The Residents are said to be in a jubilant mood to attend a live concert and that many are taking advantage of the concert to do business.

Steven Odongkara the Police officer in charge of the great north road told Uganda Picks that they have beef up security put in place different places in Elegu trading centre for the concert.

Odongkara said that they will have to combine with the army in beefing up security during the concert.

He also called on the residents to work hand in hand with the police so that they may identify wrong doers in their areas.
