The URA debt manager collector Abdu Salam Waiswa has said that Pioneer Easy buses will be on sale in 14 days due to heavy debt of 8 billion shillings they owe URA.

Mr Waiswa says that pioneer  managers have been given only two weeks to pay the money .He adds that if  they fail to pay ,URA will open advertisement to the public about the sale of pioneer company buses.

He also said that the arrears arose out of bus company’s  failure to honor the memorandum of understanding they entered into with URA last year to pay Customs taxes on the importation of their 99 buses.

He further added that URA has never received any single coin from pioneer management ever since the memorandum was signed.
