A petro fuel truck from Kenya plunged into a house and caught fire in Kitega, Lugazi.

The truck is said to have lost control and knocked a near by house. The truck immediately caught fire and the fire ended up spreading to a second house. People tried to help but the fire was too much and people ended up standing and watching as the truck went up in flames.

It is not clear if the people in the truck managed to get out before the fire or the people in the two houses although one person has so far been confirmed dead. The deceased was identified as Mohammed Sekeba a boda boda cyclist operating at SIU in Kireka in Wakiso district.

At the time of the fire and accident, no police or fire brigade were in sight.

At this time, police is on scene to find out the details of the truck and the people who died on scene.
