The parliamentary committee on East African Affairs has sent a delegation of observers in Kenya to monitor the  general elections.

According to the committee boss Sarah Mwebaza, the delegation of three MPs led by Kakuto county MP Mathias Kasamba and others Sarah Netayisire and Ayo Tony left yesterday to Kenya to oversee  the on going general elections since Kenya is a member of the EAC community.

Mrs. Mwebaza said that since the committee of east Africa is working on the East African Affairs, it has to monitor all issues in the  EAC block.

She also said that the delegation that left to Kenya will return and report back to parliament with their analysis of the elections.
