The Ugandan parliament is  heavily flooded with water  following a heavy downpour  which lasted for over 30 minutes on Monday morning .

The water is reported to have entered through ventilators and other openings of the building and collected inside making movement hard for legislators.

By press time , all the cleaners at parliament had been called in to wipe out the water and enable the smooth running of activities .

No legislator was available for a comment since most of them are in a recess and a few are in their offices.
