One person has been killed in Kamuli district after heavy rains which racked the area yesterday night.

The deceased was a mother of three and was living in the house with her children. The house they slept in collapsed on them killing her almost immediately.

Her three children manged to survive the ordeal although they are in critical condition. They were rushed to Mulago hospital for treatment.

The rains which racked the area also damaged over ten houses.
