Following the directive by the president to the minister of local Government to withdraw the motion for the creation of more 23 districts last week, some NRM members from Buhaguzi in Hoima whom the president had promised a district during 2011 campaigns want to meet the president .

The group wants to ask the president as to why he changed his mind on granting them a district status.

According to Buhaguzi MP Bigirwa Julius Junjura the NRM Supporters from his area want an explanation from the president for suspending the creation of their district.They have threatened to withdraw their support for the party.

Bigirwa says the president made a promise to his supporters well knowing the implications.
