Ne-Yo has been sued for defamation by the mother of his child, Jesseca White.

White once said she was the mother of Ne-Yo’s child.

According to the law suit, Ne-Yo defamed her by talking bad about her on a TV show. She claims that Ne-Yo went on VH1 and painted her as “an unchaste woman who deliberately tricked him into believing he was the father of her child … so that she could fraudulently bilk him of ‘ungodly amounts of money.’”

Jesseca and Ne-Yo used to and she had a kid in 2005. On the birth certificate, she listed him as the father of the baby but a paternity test proved it was not true. However, Jesseca said she confided in Ne-Yo, at the time she gave birth, that she wasn’t sure who the father of the child really was. However, Ne-Yo went on VH1 and called her names, something which clearly did not sit well with her.

She also claims her career as a photo and a graphic designer has been affected. She is suing for unspecified damages.
